We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Lakeland, FL. This is a key leadership role with excellent growth potential, offering the opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of our projects.

About the Role: Project Leadership: You will be responsible for leading all electrical engineering activities across multiple projects, including client engagement, proposal development, and project execution. Design & Analysis: You will lead the design of electrical systems, including the selection and sizing of equipment (switchgear, transformers, motors, etc.), lighting design, grounding systems, and the development of single-line diagrams and motor schematics. Project Management: You will define project scope, manage project budgets and schedules, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals. Technical Expertise: You will possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards, including NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and OSHA.

Who You Are: Educated Professional: You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Experienced Professional: You have at least 4 years of experience in electrical engineering design for chemical, manufacturing, or industrial markets. Technically Proficient: You are proficient in electrical engineering design software, such as SKM. A Strong Communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. A Proven Leader: You have experience leading and managing teams and achieving project objectives within budget and schedule constraints.

Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineering (PE) License in Florida (or the ability to obtain one). Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). Experience with process controls and instrumentation. Knowledge of various electrical design software (e.g., SKM).

Benefits: Competitive Salary: Direct salary range of $65,000 - $90,000+ upon conversion to permanent status, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Contract-to-Direct: This is a contract-to-direct hire opportunity with excellent potential for long-term growth.
