Our client is currently seeking a Senior Firewall Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role emphasizes deep expertise in firewall technologies, network segmentation, and Azure networking services to support enterprise-grade systems and regulatory compliance. This job will have the following responsibilities: Engineer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including Networks, Firewalls, VPN, and Azure Network Security services.

Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure high availability and performance.

Participate in on-call rotation and incident response activities as needed.

Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure network configurations align with regulatory and internal standards.

Manage Azure networking components such as Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and ExpressRoute.

Lead the engineering and implementation of firewall policies, rule sets, and segmentation strategies across data centers and cloud platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Relevant certifications preferred (., Azure Network Engineer Associate, PCNSE, CCNP Security).

Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and micro-segmentation strategies.

Proficiency in Azure networking services and infrastructure-as-code tools (., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform).

Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto or Cisco ASA firewalls.

7+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on firewall technologies and cloud networking.
