Software Engineers work in collaboration with our Product Designers, Product Managers and researchers/scientists to solve problems and further the application of technology in the radiology space. Their goal is to help doctors deliver the highest quality of care with the use of technology.Key Responsibilities:You’ll own technical vision and strategy for building and scaling our highly interactive and rich web applicationsYou’ll lead across teams to solve large and open ended problems, devising reusable components and frameworks to power world class doctor experienceCreate trustworthy doctor experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern toolsCollaborate with backend and quality engineers to spec, write, test, and deploy codeBrainstorm features with product managers, designers, scientists and GTM teamTurn our vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter by working with engineers, product managers and senior leadershipMentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards to raise the bar for the teamGather problem requirements from Product and customize feedback and create innovative solutionsReview, plan and architect end-to-end solutionsFocus on company goals and trade off solutions based on cost and valueRun code reviews and pair programming with other engineers in the organizationContribute to strong testing practices to avoid regressions in the solutions providedKey Requirements:4+ years React experience2+ years experience with JS type systems such as TypeScript, Flow, Elm or Reason1+ year GraphQL and/or VTK experienceExperience with Recoil, Redux or MobXWebGl, D3, Three.js knowledge nice to haveStock OptionsUnlimited PTOLife insuranceMaternity and Paternity Leave401K matchingSponsorship for conferences, continuing education, etcDynamic engineering role–technological innovation is at the core of our businessGrowth and learning opportunities from a startup environment include working closely with an international team of scientists, engineers, platform architects, programmers and professionalsDo something morally benevolent!The annual US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $175,000 + equity + benefits. Pay scale is flexible depending on experience.
