You will have the opportunity to work in a team developing system-level frameworks enabling these experiences, in close collaboration with creative teams across Apple and VPG. The candidate for this role should be comfortable working in a dynamic and creative environment. Engineers are expected to work efficiently to assess the viability of ideas and technologies. You will need a strong understanding of GPUs and low-level programming, with a passion for innovation to enable creatives to surprise and delight users. Minimum Qualifications At least 8+ years of relevant industry experience Proficiency in programming with C++ Strong knowledge of mathematics for 3D real-time applications (linear algebra) Understanding of GPU hardware architecture and its impact on solutions Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience in designing and implementing real-time 3D and/or spatial experiences Experience delivering high-quality software to end users Preferred Qualifications Experience leading projects or teams Skills in writing optimized code using profiling tools, assembly, SIMD, compute, etc. Proficiency with major modern graphics APIs (Metal, Vulkan, DirectX, Consoles, etc.) Familiarity with macOS and Unix systems At Apple, base pay is part of a comprehensive compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The salary range for this role is $175,800 to $312,200.
