We are seeking a seasoned an Quality Engineer with exceptional expertise in test automation utilizing Python. You will be an integral part of a team that spearheads the development of innovative testing methodologies to validate the robustness of our platforms, conducts meticulous root-cause analysis of failures, and collaborates closely with development partners to implement corrective actions. As a member of the OCI Oracle Hardware Development team, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
We are seeking candidates with 4+ years of extensive experience in test automation
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Must be based locally and willing to commute to the Burlington, Massachusetts campus.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Engineering team to develop automated test cases and suites.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in technology and hardware to create effective test cases.
• Maintain and update test cases and suites as needed.
• Execute test suites on platforms under test, analyze test failures, identify and report code and platform bugs, and update tests accordingly.
• Release cycles are short; the ideal candidate must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment where rapid turnaround is crucial to success.
Skills Required and Preferred:
• In-depth understanding of various testing methodologies, including functional and regression testing.
• Proven experience in developing automated tests using Python.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively report and drive bug resolution to closure.
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple geographies and groups.
• Highly motivated and self-directed, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Preferred: Experience with Oracle Linux or Linux System Administration.
• Preferred: Experience with rack servers and lab networking.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
