MEP Firm located in Glendale, California, is looking for a senior mechanical engineer with HVAC & Plumbing design experience to join our team. The candidate for this position must have an architectural background and constructability knowledge to identify arising issues. Responsibilities include: Performing constructability reviews Handling RFI/RFC Conducting submittal reviews Reviewing shop drawings Coordinating by providing digital mark-ups and details Communicating effectively through written and verbal means The candidate must be able to work in a timely manner. Specific qualifications: Mechanical and Plumbing with a minimum professional experience as a Project Manager (Min. 6 years architectural engineering experience) Strong construction document knowledge Experience working on large-scale mixed-use, commercial retail, corporate/medical offices, and hospitality projects Skilled at multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines QA/QC experience required BIM software and workflow knowledge is a plus
