Position Description:
CGI is looking for a Senior NetSuite Engineer who can also serve as a Functional lead.
We're building a small team to support an ongoing NetSuite engagement and are in immediate need of a NetSuite Technical Consultant with subject matter expertise in billing and revenue, to join the team. This role will collaborate with other offshore developer’s team members and provide critical support in requirements gathering solution design, configuration, and user enablement. This role can be remote with a PREFERENCE on candidates who can be at a local client site in Boca Raton, FL. Your future duties and responsibilities:
Technical Leadership • Lead NetSuite development and integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Avalara, payment gateways). • Oversee code reviews, custom objects, scripting, and data migrations.
Revenue & Billing Optimization • Implement deferred revenue workflows, automated invoicing, proration logic, and dunning management. • Build dashboards and analytics for ARR/MRR, churn, billing exceptions, and revenue forecasting.
Compliance & Governance • Ensure SOX compliance, audit controls, and security for billing and revenue data. • Establish data governance and support period-end financial reporting.
Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement • Act as the technical point of contact for business users and executives. • Serve as a Functional subject matter expert • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead decision-making. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5+ years as a NetSuite Technical Consultant • Strong background in ERP and finance processes (Revenue, Billing, GL, COA, Deferred/Unbilled Revenue) • Deep understanding of billing, revenue recognition (ASC /IFRS 15), and quote-to-cash processes • Experience integrating with CPQ, CRM, tax, and payment systems • Hands-on with NetSuite ARM, dashboard/report building, suite analytics, saved searches • Experience with audits, data integrity, and system governance • Ability to be a thought leader • Proven consultative approach with client-facing experience • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Problem-solving mindset with ability to work in ambiguous environments • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Adaptability to changing requirements and priorities • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for cross-functional collaboration • Documentation capabilities to clearly document processes and frameworks • Mentoring and guidance abilities for junior team members • Self-starter mentality capable of working independently without close supervision • Professional demeanor with focus on timeliness, accuracy, and results • Cultural fit for collaborative, results-driven environment

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
