Overview:

A high-growth technology organization is seeking a Senior Network Engineer II to join its collaborative Technical Operations team. This hands-on role is critical to designing, building, and modernizing a secure, scalable, hybrid infrastructure that spans on-premise and multi-cloud environments. What You'll Do:

  • Design, implement, and manage hybrid network infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Own technical initiatives supporting infrastructure modernization, automation, and observability
  • Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues, break/fix, and system escalations
  • Administer Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama, Juniper/Cisco switching and routing
  • Configure and maintain VPNs, VLANs, wireless solutions, and authentication protocols (LDAP, RADIUS)
  • Automate routine processes using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar scripting tools
  • Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Engineering, and Support teams
  • Participate in rotational on-call support and high-impact change events
  • Create and maintain documentation, technical diagrams, and change records

What You'll Bring:

  • 6+ years of enterprise-level network/system engineering experience
  • Advanced expertise with: Palo Alto firewalls & Panorama, Juniper or Cisco routing/switching, VLANs, OSPF/BGP, VPNs (IPSec), 802.1x, NAC
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers
  • Experience with scripting and infrastructure automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform)
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments
  • Working knowledge of observability tools and network monitoring
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Preferred certifications: PCNSE, JNCIE, CCSP, ITIL
