The role involves supporting the US Department of Defense, requiring on-site work in San Antonio, TX, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Collaborate with third-party vendors to establish baselines, inventory, and assess needs. Design and implement routing and switching solutions supporting defense operations. Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure high availability and reliability. Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive defense information. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with defense systems. Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and procedures. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer. Experience with Route/Switch (iOS XE, EIGRP, BGP, Spanning Tree, IPv6). iOSXR experience is a plus.
