Are you ready to shape the future of global network services?
Our client is searching for an experienced professional to join their Global Network Services team, ensuring a robust and reliable network infrastructure worldwide. This pivotal role involves engineering, deploying, and maintaining a global network that includes data and voice systems, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. You will collaborate closely with DevOps, AV, and Cyber Security teams to uphold best-in-class security and network practices. Deploy and support a complex global network environment. Ensure network stability and performance through operational excellence and proactive maintenance. Troubleshoot network issues, schedule upgrades, and perform network analysis and optimization. Maintain uptime and monitoring of all corporate network infrastructure globally. Partner with Information Security to secure network infrastructure and enforce access policies. Manage network upgrades, expansions, and new implementations. Evaluate new technologies for deployment across global locations. Document standard operating procedures and ensure network documentation is current. Provide troubleshooting guidance and training for Tier 1 IT support. Offer 24x7 Tier 3 IT Network Support. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred certifications: CCNA, JNCIA, CCNP, etc. Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba Wireless, and Palo Alto Networks. 3 years in designing and supporting IP networks optimized for streaming. Hands-on experience with multicast, unicast, and adaptive bitrate streaming technologies. Understanding of media delivery protocols and standards. 8 years as a Network Engineer with 6 years in global network support. Experience with network design in public cloud environments: AWS, Azure, GCP. 4 years supporting SD-WAN solutions and DDI solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement creative solutions. Expertise in network architecture and design of large-scale networks. Experience with SDN/SDDC and virtualization technologies. Knowledge of project life cycle management and change management. Proficiency in transport, routing, and security protocols.
