Key Skills and Experience 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments with Cisco routing and switching Ability to work onsite in Columbia, SC 3 days/week Background working with Palo Alto and F5 Job Description Provides consultative direction for network planning, architecture design and engineering. Determines feasibility from technical and economic perspective. Compiles, analyzes, and reviews operational data. Oversees and directs tests to establish standard for new designs or modifications to existing equipment, systems, or processes. Oversees, plans, and evaluates complex network systems and makes recommendations for resources required to develop, maintain and/or expand service levels. Provides consultative support to facilitate design and to resolve design problems. Monitors network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future. Oversees, plans, and ensures implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Anticipates and mitigates potential attacks through network or other connections to ensure the security of the system. Provides strategic planning and participation for disaster recovery operations. Qualifications Bachelors degree in CS, IT, Mathematics or related field 10+ years of network experience Direct experience with Ansible, Palo Alto, and/or F5 Comprehensive knowledge of network systems and applications. Able to perform high-level network planning, design, and optimization. Able to suggest plans to integrate new and existing designs and provide input into highly complex and high impacting decisions. Advanced technical knowledge of networking, communications, and related hardware and software. Preferred Licenses and Certificates: CCIE, CCNA, CCNP Why Revolution Technologies?
