Position: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts
(On-site 3 days per week, 2 days remote )
Duration: CTH Will convert after 6 months
Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Industry Sector: IT Consulting / Federal Government Contracting
Experience: Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience as a subject matter expert in architecting complex networks. Must have experience with Cisco, DHCP, DNS, VPN, MPLS, MTIPS, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), routing, switching, and Out-of-Band (OOB) networks, cloud infrastructure, and firewall management. Must have IPV6 transition experience. Must be an expert in routing and switching.

Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
IPV4 to IPV6 transitioning
Palo Alto firewall
Cisco Firepower VPN
Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNAC)
IPV6, DHCP, DNS, VPN, MPLS, MTIPS
Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), routing, switching
Out-of-Band (OOB) networks
Cloud infrastructure and firewall management
CISCO CCIE certification
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the Cisco ISE environment.
Lead the transition from IPV4 to IPV6.
Design, implement, and manage complex network services.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
Provide direct support for network operational issues to other departments.
Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructure.
Collaborate with application owners and IT stakeholders to support a scalable, efficient, and stable network.
Research, plan, design, and implement network technologies using industry best practices.
Assist in developing network policies, procedures, and change management.
Work with the virtualization group to ensure interoperability between physical and virtual environments.
Participate in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity planning and execution.
