About The Role We are looking for a Senior Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Engineer with deep integration expertise and hands-on experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
This role is both technical and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on mentoring, training, and driving best practices for the client’s internal team.
You’ll work closely with client stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and technology partners to deliver impactful solutions to our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing Serve as the primary point of contact for all OIC development and support requests.
Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, maintainable integrations using OIC.
Tackle and clear the existing EDI backlog by delivering effective, high-quality solutions.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
Coach and mentor the client’s internal team on OIC best practices, integration patterns, and troubleshooting approaches.
Lead knowledge transfer sessions to build in-house capability in OIC and EDI workflows.
Promote the adoption of coding standards, reusable components, and process efficiencies.
Once the backlog is addressed, lead the development of new EDI requests and enhancements.
Provide timely resolution for incidents and change requests.
Partner with the client’s integration and IT teams to ensure smooth operations and knowledge sharing. What We’re Looking For Minimum 8 years of experience in integration development, with proven expertise in designing, building, and supporting enterprise-level solutions using OIC or similar middleware platforms.
Proven experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, including implementation, mapping, troubleshooting, and order management workflows.
Experience integrating Oracle ERP Cloud, with a deep understanding of business processes and data flows.
Familiarity with integration/middleware platforms such as MFT, SOA Suite, MuleSoft, or similar.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to mentor junior developers, lead best-practice adoption, and guide technical decision-making.
Experience managing integration projects from requirements gathering through deployment, including backlog management, testing, and production support.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with business and technical teams; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Additional Information Rate:
$80-90/hr C2C.
Location:
United States.
Primarily remote, with occasional onsite visits as required by the client.
Hours:
Full-time, standard business hours with flexibility to address critical issues after hours if necessary.
