For more information, visit darktrace.com. Job Description: Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our Partner team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sales background, industry expertise, and experience working with partners in the Midwest. Responsibilities include designing solutions, conducting product demos, and providing technical support to drive revenue growth through channel partners. Responsibilities: Sales, Strategy and Performance: Understand channel sales strategies, partner ecosystems, and enablement; leverage existing relationships. Market Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies. Revenue Focus: Align technical activities with revenue goals. Value Selling: Use MEDDPPIC methodology, understand customer pains, create and utilize M1/M2 metrics, guide prospects to success criteria. Communication: Understand sales cycles, communicate technical concepts clearly, build relationships, and negotiate effectively. Tools & Technology: Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot, sales enablement platforms, and technical tools such as network analysis or cybersecurity tools. Industry Expertise: Knowledge of competitors, industry recognition, and external certifications. Team Collaboration: Contribute to technical initiatives, mentor peers, participate in regional best-practices, and work cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams. Adaptability and customer focus are essential. Requirements/Experience: 5+ years in technical sales, preferably within channel or partner ecosystems. Experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or networking. Supporting channel partners, VARs, or distributors is highly desirable. Deep understanding of company solutions and solution architecture. Pre-sales engineering experience with demos and technical presentations. Systems integration knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Expertise in security or industry verticals is a plus.
