We are searching for a Senior Plumbing Engineer for one of our premier clients located in Dallas, TX. This is a rapidly growing Texas-based MEP engineering firm with multiple offices, known for a collaborative, non-corporate culture and high-profile projects in healthcare, K-12, higher education, and commercial facilities. The company offers a half-day every Friday, a strong emphasis on professional growth, and a creative, team-oriented work environment.
Day-To-Day:
As a Senior Plumbing Engineer, you will oversee the plumbing design and documentation of assigned projects for the systems that supply water, remove waste, and support building operations. You will lead and collaborate with other plumbing team members with a focus on effective coordination across disciplines and delivering high-quality, fully integrated designs. Responsibilities:
Lead the plumbing design process for assigned facilities projects from concept through completion.
Design plumbing, piping, and related systems for healthcare, education, and commercial buildings.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams to produce fully integrated designs.
Oversee and mentor junior plumbing engineering staff throughout design and documentation phases.
Conduct internal reviews to verify accuracy and quality of project deliverables.
Monitor project progress and coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Participate in client meetings and contribute technical expertise to project planning and development.
Remain hands-on in Revit and AutoCAD to support active design work.
Qualifications:
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with eligibility to transfer to Texas if currently licensed in another state.
Ten or more years of plumbing engineering experience with facilities building systems in healthcare, education, or commercial facilities.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with recent hands-on design experience.
Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering complex projects.
Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines on integrated building system designs.
Ability to work fully on-site in Dallas, TX.
Compensation and Perks:
Competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 based on experience.
Half-day Fridays year-round.
