Learn more at stc.arcfield.com.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Technology Consulting (STC), an Arcfield Company, is seeking a talented professional to join our team and fill the role of Digital Engineering Tools Administrator.STC is seeking an experienced Digital Engineer with a passion for deploying and configuring infrastructure and software solutions to fit customers' requirements, while focusing on process improvements, efficiency, and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, be organized, have an ability to prioritize their time, and understand the value of providing strong customer service.This position will serve as a subject matter expert on STC's Digital Engineering Infrastructure team. The DE Infrastructure team is a set of tools admins who work on tactical, high-visibility contracts; often providing a level of expertise where they are guiding customer admins on how to configure their systems. The chosen candidate will work directly with customers, with little oversight, and will demonstrate a high level of interaction, initiative, and influence for Digital Transformation efforts. They will bring their skills to bear to help customers achieve their Digital Thread and Digital Twin goals.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe candidate should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively with a cross functional team. He or she must be a change agent and have personal initiative. Possessing the drive to seek answers to complex problems, as well as to implement optimal solutions:Develop and implement comprehensive Digital Engineering strategies to support DoD and/or Commercial customer initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure alignment and progress in digital engineering initiatives.Serve as a subject matter expert in MBSE, guiding both internal and customer teams on best practices and emerging technologies.Deploy common MBSE and DE COTS software, such as modeling tools (Cameo, Magic, SAM), middleware (ex. Syndeia, eCube, SBE Vision)Configure assets in Azure Cloud and/or Amazon Web ServicesCan speak effectively in front of a group to either coordinate and/or provide technical direction to customer adminsCan demonstrate the ability to communicate with senior customers, keep all stakeholders informed, prioritize tasks, and vet prioritiesHas the ability to interpret and adjudicate user needs; translate user needs expressed as business requirements into technical requirements; implement user needs the tools or customization of the toolsThe candidate should also demonstrate or have an interest in gaining expertise in:Technical Management skillsEmbrace mentoring and development of personnel, with a commitment to continuous learningStrong Communication skillsExperience with core Systems Engineering Disciplines (Requirements, Schedule, Risk, Readiness, System Closure, etc)QualificationsRequired SkillsBS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5BS Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (IT/Engineering/etc)Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCIExpertise with major versions of Linux and Windows ServerExperience configuring COTS software to fit customers' requirements and processesKnowledge of IT concepts and best practices, including for cybersecurityFluent in the concepts of MBSE, DE, Digital Threads, and Digital TransformationPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with Java and enterprise databases (Cassandra, DB2, etc)Knowledge of Agile terminology, theories and best practicesFamiliarity with DOD and Intelligence Community (IC) regulations, directives, policies and compliance for ATOExperience developing and troubleshooting work-flowsExperience identifying, researching, and testing alternative solutionsEqual Pay ActThis is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
