Our Senior Engineer works on developing and executing complex process control systems integration projects, fostering relationships with customers, and developing business in and around Houston, Texas Job Type : Full-Time Location : Remote-first with work in customer facilities as needed. Up to 25% overnight travel and local travel to Houston area clients. Preference will be given to candidates based in Houston and surrounding areas. Salary: $135,000 - $175,000 (Commensurate with education and experience) On a typical day you will: Coordinate a team of engineers and, at times, work independently Solve technical issues related to the delivery of projects Write design documentation, develop applications, and meet with clients Assist Avid’s sales team with job estimating and proposal processes Mentor Engineers during start up and execution of projects Monitor and maintain project budgets in coordination with Project Manager Help coordinate all aspects of project phases. Requirements: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in hands-on process controls and systems integration B.S. in an Engineering discipline or other related field or equivalent work experience and training Experience with various unit operations Extensive start-up and commissioning experience Strong experience with Experience with PLCs (Rockwell Automation PlantPAx) and/or DCS systems. Understanding of common control strategies, PI&Ds, Industry Standards such as ISA-101, ISA-18.2.
