Who We Are:
The partnership channel offers scale and automation on a pay-for-performance model that delivers the operating leverage necessary for brand survival. Partnerize empowers marketers with technology built to discover, engage, and convert audiences, at scale, all while maintaining brand safety and control.
Why Join Us?
Our commitment to growing partnerships doesn't end with our clients. Our employees are carefully selected to be a part of our company because they emulate a carefully crafted and practiced set of core values that define us and our business. Joining Partnerize means joining a company that sincerely values your talent, expertise, and passion. We strive each day to hire and retain only the best. Doing so affords us the opportunity to be the best in the business, to exceed our clients' expectations, to innovate, to teach—and most importantly—to earn and maintain our clients’ loyalty.
What gets us (and hopefully you!) excited:
At Partnerize, we're all about turning data into something truly useful for our customers. Think of it as magic, but with code. We handle a lot of data – over a billion events flowing through our systems every single day. And our mission? To make as much of that data available in real-time as humanly (or rather, system-ly) possible. It's a proper challenge at this scale, and frankly, we love it.
Our platform runs on smart REST APIs, and everything we build starts with that API-first mindset. We're constantly playing around with and evolving our tech stack to stay sharp in this ever-changing digital landscape. And yes, we're pretty quick on our feet – we deploy to production several times a day!
When it comes to our primary tools, we're pretty fond of Python, PHP, JavaScript (React), and Kafka . When it comes to storing all that goodness, we use MySQL, PostgreSQL, Druid, and Redis .
The Role
As a Python Software Engineer with us, you'll be diving into some seriously cool stuff:
Building high-performance systems: You'll be developing systems that handle thousands of events per second, processing data near real-time, and working with datasets that stretch into the tens of billions of rows. No small potatoes here!
Impacting the core: You'll be contributing to mission-critical systems that keep our business humming, helping us scale our platform to meet the ever-growing demands of our clients.
Teaming up for resilience: You'll collaborate closely with our lead architect, crafting services that are not just scalable, but also super fault-tolerant and resilient (because who needs drama?).
Crafting beautiful code: You'll be writing clean, well-tested, and refactored code – always with an eye on how to keep things maintainable and scalable for the long run.
Who You Are
If the below sounds like you, we'd love to see an application:
We're looking for a seasoned Python Software Engineer who has:
A solid track record: A minimum of 5-7 years of robust professional software development experience , with Python being your absolute go-to language, all within a commercial environment.
Python wizardry: A comprehensive understanding of Python libraries and frameworks, plus a proven history of building distributed systems that handle high concurrency like a champ.
Data expertise: Experience developing systems that handle large volumes of data, specifically implementing solutions that are fault-tolerant, distributed, and horizontally scalable. (Yes, those are big words, but you know what they mean!)
Clear communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, because collaborating with our team members and writing clear technical documentation is just as important as writing brilliant code.
We'd love you to have:
Hands-on experience with technologies like Kafka, MySQL, Postgres.
Experience with processing financial data.
Experience in reverse engineering and problem solving skills, specifically the ability to understand existing systems written in PHP to reimplement.
An understanding of operational principles, specifically Linux based systems.
