About Mytra
We're creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We're applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We're focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a "sleepy" industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.
Senior Robotics Systems Integration Engineer
Role Overview
Mytra's Systems Engineering Team is looking for a highly experienced, hands-on engineer to serve as the integration and operations lead for prototype warehouse robotics installations.
As a Robotics Systems Integration Engineer, you'll be the technical authority for diagnosing issues and maintaining an operational state of our internal systems. The role combines cross-discipline technical expertise with operations and project management to play a crucial role in the development of a large robotics fleet.
Example Projects
Manage technical operations of internal prototype installations, ensuring they are operational, maintained, and available for hardware tests and software development. Investigate system failures across the full stack, from mechanical assemblies throug networking, performing rapid diagnosis and reporting issues to responsible engineers. Mentor field engineering teams in commissioning and operational procedures, serving as a high-level technical contact across multiple deployment sites. Verify system performance under operational conditions, stress-testing hardware and software integration to identify failure modes before customer deployment. The Ideal Candidate You have 5+ years of hands-on experience with complex electro-mechanical systems troubleshooting, ideally in autonomous systems, industrial automation, or aerospace applications. You have proven experience managing systems that support development teams, including maintaining uptime, scheduling work windows, and ensuring system availability for testing. You possess deep expertise in multi-domain system integration, understanding dependencies between mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software subsystems. You excel at rapid diagnosis under pressure, with proven ability to systematically isolate failure modes in complex systems with minimal documentation or support. You're proficient with diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, CAN bus analyzers, and Linux-based debugging utilities. You have experience with prototype system operations, including managing experimental hardware configurations and supporting iterative development processes. You can effectively communicate technical findings to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders, including coordinating maintenance schedules and system availability. You're comfortable with domestic travel ( Uncertainty isn't scary, and you're willing to realize mistakes and pivot. You thrive in ambiguous situations where standard procedures don't apply and creative problem-solving is essential. Openness, inquisitiveness, and constant ambition are important values.
A Final Note
You're encouraged to apply even if you don't check every box. We value curiosity, bias to action, and clarity of communication over perfection. We work closely and collaboratively at Mytra-no one takes on projects alone. We want people who are eager to grow, learn new things, and bring fresh perspectives to the team.
