You will play a crucial role in fortifying cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring robust security across the organization. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be a key contributor in defining and implementing security configurations across diverse platforms. Your expertise will be essential in developing baselines that align with high-level security requirements, mitigating risks, and promoting a secure-by-default environment. Collaborate with teams across the organization to drive alignment on security standards, processes, and technologies. Champion automation and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in security practices.
What You’ll Do: Develop and implement security configuration settings for various platform technologies.
Create and maintain security baselines that align with high-level security requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of security best practices.
Identify systemic security risks and develop mitigation plans.
Champion automation to enhance security posture and efficiency.
Contribute to the development and implementation of security controls and procedures.
Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies. Must-Haves: Must be a US Citizen.
10+ years of overall experience in the security field.
5+ years of experience with Cloud Security.
5+ years of experience with Network Security/OS Server Security.
5+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management.
Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with both standards-based and non-standards-based security requirements.
Experience working in a large enterprise environment.
Experience with security automation tools and technologies. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $69 to $77 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
