About The Job Hopper's Hotel Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) team integrates proprietary fintech offerings with major travel companies and direct-to-customer services. This role involves developing scalable systems for both B2C and B2B2C verticals, delivering value to customers and the business. Responsibilities Design, implement, deploy, and maintain complex backend systems for integrations. Iterate on features using agile methodologies, primarily with Scala, and technologies such as GCP, OpenAPI, BigQuery, Pub/Sub. Make architectural decisions and develop core systems within a microservices architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Frontend Engineers. Qualifications Experience with distributed systems and architectural decision-making. Ability to work independently, proactively, and adapt to evolving goals. Prior experience with cloud technologies and familiarity with Scala libraries. Experience in travel or eCommerce sectors is a plus.
