Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.
The Senior Software Engineer (SAP FICO), will be responsible for facilitating the implementation and support of SAP Financials and Controlling to enhance the clients' business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. Also, this position will be responsible for:
Configuring SAP systems within the SAP FICO module along with working across all FICO sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, FA etc.)
Having deep understanding and hands on experience on output types, GL determination and movement types, valuated and non-valuated postings, Product Costing and able to lead the team for successful project implementation.
Developing finance solutions that enhance and extend Cardinal Health's investment in SAP.
Providing guidance having deep understanding of SAP financial integration within Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes, supply chain solutions and other capabilities enabled by SAP.
Leading complex projects by providing functional expertise, guidance on SAP products to clients.
Developing highly effective working relationships with other IT and Business teams within and across business units through flawless execution and open, honest, direct communication.
Mentoring and developing SAP teams and providing SAP related advise to various groups within Cardinal.
Having an enterprise perspective and help others to understand broad implications of decision making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience preferred
8+ years of SAP FICO and Integration experience preferred
5+ years hands on SAP FICO configuration experience supporting the following functions: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Product Costing preferred
5+ years of experience in full cycle implementation as well as in project supports preferred
Deep understanding with relevant experience of SAP financial integration Procure to Pay processes (3-way match, GR/IR match, invoice processing, GR processing, returns processing, etc.)
Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules SD, MM, etc.
SAP ECC and S/4 HANA Experience required
Strong Communication Skills, written and verbal required
Proven leadership ability preferred
Associates may need to travel when and as needed to Dublin, OH.

Anticipated salary range: $121,600 - $173,700
