A successful candidate will be able to play an active role in managing the prioritization of work to meet project goals.To foster continuous collaboration, we follow a hybrid policy in which you will work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week in our Chicago office.Job Responsibilities:Work with development teams and product managers to build softwareDesign & develop client-side and server-side architectureWrite scalable APIs using Java based technologies (Java 8+, Java Spring Boot)Develop software with the focus on security, availability, and scalabilityWrite technical documentationRequirements:Proven experience as a full-stack developer or similar role5-7 years’ experience in back-end languages (Java)Familiarity with any databases technologies – Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQLExperience in AWS (Amazon Web Services) based environment building serverless applications is a plusExcellent communication and teamwork skillsGreat attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience within the financial services industry is desirableTotal Compensation Range:$110,775-188,325Inclusive of annual base salary and target incentiveCompensation And BenefitsAt Morningstar we believe people are at their best when they are at their healthiest.
