What you will be doing at Globalstar As a Senior Software Engineer (Python) , you will develop new software features in Python for a Satellite scheduling system that optimizes Globalstar’s ground based systems. This includes hands-on coding, testing, verifying, and maintaining major system features.You will participate in and enhance software processes, including design reviews, code reviews, and continuous integration. Duties/Responsibilities: Participate in design and performance optimization workshops for algorithm development and refinement. Develop, enhance and maintain high-performance, highly optimized satellite tracking scheduling software. Work with team members to design and develop REST APIs to interact with the satellite tracking scheduling software. Collaborate on development of internal data visualization dashboards. Develop and maintain frameworks for building, unit testing and deployment of pertinent subsystems. Write specifications and requirements defining application functions, features, and goals. Proactively troubleshoot/debug/resolve application and performance issues.
