A Little About Us The Delivery and Integration team is part of the Central Tech Platforms team, responsible for improving software build, deployment, and integration processes. We seek experienced engineers to develop and enhance platforms for Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD), release automation, and Artifact Storage. Our goal is to provide reliable, efficient tools and standardized processes that enable engineering teams to deliver value faster and more consistently. The ideal candidate has experience with AWS or GCP and is comfortable using various cloud services. In this role, you'll be a key member of the team, helping to accelerate the engineering output across Yahoo's business units, contributing to the evolution of Yahoo developer tools. Responsibilities Collaborate with engineers across teams and organizations Develop and establish standards leveraging public cloud and Kubernetes ecosystems Enhance Developer Productivity platforms and services in cloud and data center environments Proactively seek solutions to technical challenges Improve standards and 'paved roads' for engineering at Yahoo Required Skills Strong teamwork and communication skills 4+ years of experience with AWS and/or GCP services and APIs Experience in building and deploying large-scale systems Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters Experience deploying and managing applications within Kubernetes Proficient in Terraform Experience with automation and CI / CD workflows Excellent troubleshooting skills Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, Ruby, or Java Experience in training others Desire to continually evolve skills and stay current with technology trends Bonus: Experience with Serverless cloud platforms The role involves adhering to Yahoo policies, exercising sound judgment, working effectively and inclusively, maintaining trustworthiness, and safeguarding business operations and brand integrity. The salary range for this position is $128,250 - $266,875 per year, depending on location, skills, and experience.
