Duties :
Responsible for analyzing business requirements to get a good understanding of the integration stack, business flow, security protocols, and data formats needed to design an efficient and complete API specification using RAML, OAS and WSDL; gather feedback from the published APIs and modify the attributes or specification accordingly to fit the integration needs; design the integration interfaces to efficiently pass information from one enterprise application or server to an another; build modular software components for various data process flows to implement System, Process and Experience APIs based on the requirements using JAVA, JSON, CSV, XML, XSLT, GIT, SOAP UI, Rest Services, IBM IIB, DB2, IBM MFT, IBM WMQ explorer, Salesforce, JIRA, Apache Kafka, Spring Boot, MMC, SVN, Postman, Jenkins CI/CD tool, Snowflake, Azure, AWS Platform, SQL and Confluence; test developed integration interfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and requirement specifications; support the deployment of interfaces; perform interface testing in multiple environments using API, Runtime, Manager, Anypoint Studio, Mule ESB, and Data weave; deploy APIs in the MuleSoft Anypoint platform and MuleSoft using Maven; build CI/CD pipelines and deployable artifacts to Runtime manager; build charts to display key metrics of API usage, transactions, rate-limiting and plan based throttling and policies; configure and coordinate security, error logging and auditing activities; provide technical documentation of framework assets, standards, best practices, accelerator toolkit, methodology and naming conventions for efficient API implementations; coordinate and document software system and application requirements to ensure functional and technical specification are met; design, develop and test frameworks; perform analysis of the Business Integration requirements, including understanding the various business processes of the integration interfaces to be built; design various data process flows to implement the integration interfaces, based on the requirements gathered in the requirements stage; design of the message structures to hold the various pieces of information; implement/develop software components based on the above design details, to be carried out in a software environment; implement algorithms, databases, integration components and server-side components as required; make changes to the design and integration components to accommodate the requirement; perform deployment of the interfaces, testing them in the staging environment; and prepare the design and technical documents for user documentation.
Location: Providence, Rhode Island and various other undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.
Salary: $151,195 per year.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education: Bachelors - Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None ; Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as an Integration Developer, as a Software Developer, as a Software Engineer 2, as a Senior Associate Technology, as an Application Development Team Lead, as a Sr. Developer, as a Consultant, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: Snowflake, Salesforce, SOAP UI, Azure, AWS Platform, Data weave, MuleSoft, Anypoint Studio, Jenkins CI/CD tool, JIRA, Apache Kafka, and Maven. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
