Engage in deep, varied simulation work across industries using leading-edge ANSYS electromagnetic tools. What You’ll Do As an Electrical Engineer on our team, you will deliver exceptional engineering simulation services, training, and support using ANSYS HFSS, SIWave, and EMC Plus. You will partner with clients to understand their technical challenges, apply analytical thinking, and generate creative, simulation-based solutions. Consulting Services Define analysis requirements and recommend simulation strategies. Develop proposals with clear scope, cost, and schedule. Analyze and report on EMI/EMC performance, emissions, susceptibility, and shielding. Model complex EUT geometries, PCBAs, cable assemblies, and on-board circuitry. Technical Support Provide direct support to end-users of ANSYS electromagnetic products via phone, email, and virtual/in-person meetings. Pre-Sales Support Collaborate with account managers to assess customer needs. Deliver engaging, technically sound software demos and presentations. Offer expertise in simulations for EMC, signal integrity, and high-frequency behavior. Training & Development Teach ANSYS classes virtually or onsite across North America. Develop clear, professional training materials and documentation. What You’ll Bring Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s degree a plus. 5+ years of industry experience using ANSYS HFSS, SIWave, or EMC Plus. Proven experience with EMI/EMC simulation and analysis techniques (e.g., MIL-STD-461G, lightning strike, ESD). Skills & Competencies Strong theoretical background in high-frequency EM fields and numerical methods. Experience modeling ferrites, filters, enclosures, and PCB-level terminations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident in customer-facing roles (technical support, pre-sales, consulting). Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python, JScript, C#, C++) is a plus. Experience with CAD, multiphysics, or optimization methods is helpful.
