Your Impact & Responsibilities: As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering high-profile projects, taking designs from concept through construction in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment. Your expertise will drive: Analysis, design, and computer modeling of diverse structures (steel, concrete, masonry, wood). Seamless coordination with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and civil teams. Production of high-quality plans, details, and specifications. Construction administration, including shop drawing reviews. Technical leadership on complex assignments, acting as a key liaison. Location & Flexibility: This is a hybrid position based primarily out of Syracuse, NY. Flexibility is offered for qualified candidates near other NY offices including: Williamsville, Rochester, Buffalo, Hauppauge, Albany, or Voorheesville. What You'll Need to Succeed: Bachelor of Science in Structural or Civil Engineering (Structural focus). Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE) licenses are required. 10+ years of progressive structural engineering experience in building/facility systems. Proven design experience across a wide range of structural materials and project types. Proficiency with structural engineering software (Bentley RAM products), 3D modeling (Revit, AutoCAD), Excel, and Bluebeam. Deep understanding of structural codes and standards (ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc.). Outstanding communication, problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills.
