In the role of Senior Power Engineer, you'll be responsible for: Coordinating the work of design engineers within a multidisciplinary team throughout project development Establishing client relations and participating in marketing, design, and production meetings Assuming technical leadership within project teams Participating in code compliance reviews with governing agencies Conducting schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites with the Project Manager and other disciplines Coordinating workload to ensure timely project deliverables Collaborating with Project Manager and Project Controller on project reviews Leading and mentoring engineering professionals Performing additional duties as required Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 10+ years of experience in substation communication Experience with an engineering consulting firm Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering At least 10 years of relevant experience Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license Extensive project execution experience in the Power Sector Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit) What We Believe: HDR values diverse perspectives and experiences, fostering a collaborative culture that builds trust and connects us with our clients and communities.
