We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to contribute to the development and sustainment of mission planning software for aircraft and weapons systems. This full-time position is based on-site, where innovation and collaboration thrive.
Travel: Limited travel may be required.
Security Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is mandatory for this role. Candidates will undergo a security investigation to ensure eligibility for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of Systems Engineering experience related to DoD aircraft systems, weapons systems, or mission support systems, focusing on design, development, integration, and testing of hardware and software.
Proficient in breaking down requirements into technical system and software specifications.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
Core Responsibilities:
Assess the capabilities of new or updated hardware and software to fulfill system and mission performance criteria.
Engage in the formulation, review, and critique of H-60 software requirements during various project phases, including trade-off studies, engineering analyses, and system implementation evaluations.
Provide insights and recommendations concerning human systems engineering.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with DoD Systems Engineering Technical Reviews and systems software engineering, including model-based systems engineering and systems reliability.
Familiarity with Mission Planning Software, DOORS®, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, and agile methodologies.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a Technical Discipline is required.
Compensation: The projected annual compensation for this position ranges from $115,000.00 to $175,900 (USD), which reflects the candidate's experience, education, and qualifications.
