Overview : Inspira is transitioning from Avaya to 8x8 and from Cerner to Epic EMR, creating a need for telephony integrations. The company seeks a Senior Telecom Engineer contractor to assist existing team with projects, design, and operational support. The role requires a higher-level engineer to help with the workload and maintain critical phone system operations. Required Skills & Experience: Strong VoIP and SIP understanding, including SIP packets and headers, is a must-have. Experience with session border controllers, especially AudioCodes, is highly desirable. General networking knowledge, including routing, switching, firewalls, and security, is essential. Knowledge of API integrations (SCIM, HL7) and scripting languages (Python) is beneficial. Familiarity with Microsoft environments, including Azure, SSO, and Teams, is needed for integration.
