The Space and Intelligence (S&I) Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge computer-based solutions, advanced technologies and progressive capabilities to meet those needs. The S&I Division comprises the Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), the Space Systems Group (SSG), and the Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG), which collectively provide outstanding support to help their customers achieve our nation's most critical objectives and goals designed to protect the safety and livelihoods of all U.S. Citizens, military forces at home and abroad. SPA has a near-term need for a number of highly qualified Senior Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineers to support our new U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command Hemisphere contract in the Colorado Springs, CO and El Segundo, CA areas. Travel is not anticipated but would occur less than five percent of the time on an occasional and irregular basis and be limited to domestic locations only.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance or TS/SCI Eligible status Earned Master of Arts or Science in relevant technical disciplines, such as Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, physics, or operations research. (A Bachelor's degree is acceptable if applicant has at least 12 years of experience in this type of position or program.) Minimum 10 years of relevant T&E experience Working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle (SELC) and of U.S. Air Force and/or U.S. Space Force T&E policies, practices, processes, and procedures Reports to El Segundo/CO Springs up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client. Responsibilities

A Senior T&E Engineer shall be: An expert in Air Force, Space Force, and SSC science and technology processes and procedures for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on space control relevant technology thrusts, spanning academia, industry, or other government agencies. An expert in ACAT-like test and evaluation planning and execution for developmental and operational testing activities. Highly knowledgeable in design and development of entire space systems, including subcomponents. Knowledgeable of modeling, simulation, and study activities. Expert in analyzing and assessing technologies against known architectural capability gaps to determine feasibility of transition into programs of record.
