The company is seeking a Senior Transportation Structural Project Engineer to join our Hunt Valley, MD office. In this senior-level role, you will lead and manage structural design projects for transportation structures, including new bridge designs and rehabilitation projects. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and rehabilitation of bridges and transportation structures.
- Manage all project phases, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality assurance.
- Prepare detailed contract documents, bid packages, and specifications.
- Oversee and coordinate work with subconsultants, internal design engineers, and CAD/drafting teams.
- Ensure compliance with AASHTO LRFD and Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) standards.
- Provide construction phase services and technical guidance.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- 1220 years of structural engineering experience in transportation projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Maryland.
- In-depth experience with AASHTO LRFD bridge design.
- Proven success working on MDOT projects.
- Proficiency in structural design using steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete.
