What you will do
As a Service Engineer 2, you will:
Conduct preventive maintenance activities for our customers in the food industry in line with Tetra Pak standard global procedures and reinstate Tetra Pak food packaging and processing systems equipment into the customer's production environments according to defined expectations. Execute installation tasks, including the assembly of complete Tetra Pak systems. Execute installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits according to procedures. Execute timely reporting of all discovered technical issues. Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customers or the quality of Tetra Pak service. Inform management about any business opportunities discovered for customers. Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customers and ensuring that Tetra Pak’s reputation is sustained. Execute and complete all relevant reports in an accurate and timely way. Distribute reports according to existing procedures and ensure that proper handover is done. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and customer safety regulations and requirements, including Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory issues. Conduct on-site/off-site Operator and Mechanical training for internal Tetra Pak and customer personnel. Maintain an issue resolution database and perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services onsite and by phone. Install set-up and support through remote support when off-site. Conduct regular time entry, service reporting and email correspondence. Provide emergency phone support and on-demand service for a 24-hour support line on a rotational basis.
We believe you have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any field), Technology Management, Information Technology, or related field, and 3 years of relevant experience. In the alternative, will accept 5 years of relevant experience.
Must also have work experience in:
1. Interpreting, creating, and managing equipment Qualification Manuals (EQM) in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements;
2. Low and high voltage electrical equipment ranging from 24 to 600 volts, including power supplies, motors, various sensors and actuators, and control systems;
3. Basic Allen Bradley automation knowledge and connecting to various PLCs, inverters, and servos using Allen Bradley software including RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, and RS Logix Studio;
4. Troubleshooting and rebuilding various mechanical systems including mechanical seals, bearings, bushings, power transmission (chains and belts), cams, tie rods, pneumatic cylinders, pumps, and valves;
5. Providing customer trainings on modern automated industrial food processing equipment; and
6. Reading and understanding electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
