The Role of the Shift Engineer The Shift Engineer must be able to work shifts, answer guest and house calls, have knowledge in plumbing, A/C and electrical. Must be able to carry out minor carpentry repairs. Provide a high quality and professional service to the interior and exterior of the resort and its surrounding areas. Performs PM on guest rooms and public areas as per the Engineering Department’s standard.

Must be able to perform basic electrical tasks.

Must be able to perform basic plumbing tasks.

Must be able to perform basic carpentry tasks.

Must be able to perform basic A/C tasks.

Must be able to work in high areas.

Assists other co-workers whenever necessary.

Attends meetings and training as requested.

Must keep work areas clean.

Must be able to work shifts.

Must be able to work neatly and safely.

Carries out any other duties that may be assigned by the Engineering Management in the case of emergency.

Must report to work on time and as schedule.

Must maintain good personal hygiene at all times.

Must maintain a neat appearance at all times.

Hair must be neatly kept at all times.

Men are not permitted to wear ear rings.

Must be clean shaven at all times

You are to swipe and sign in and out when reporting and leaving work.

Performs all reasonable duties requested by management.
