Signal Integrity Engineer

Piper Companies is searching for a Signal Integrity Engineer to join a world class leader in the tech industry. The Signal Integrity Engineer will need to sit in Durham, NC in order to work onsite. The Signal Integrity Engineer will be responsible for the design, simulation, and analysis of high-speed digital and RF systems.
Responsibilities of the Signal Integrity Engineer:
-Design and analyze high-speed digital and RF circuits with a focus on signal integrity.
-Utilize industry-standard tools such as CST, Ansys, and HFSS for electromagnetic simulation and modeling.
-Perform analog simulations and digital signal processing to support system-level performance.
-Operate and interpret results from Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and other RF test equipment.
Qualifications of the Signal Integrity Engineer:
-2–3 years of hands-on experience in signal integrity hardware design.
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
-Strong foundation in electromagnetic fundamentals and simulation tools (CST, Ansys, HFSS).
-Solid understanding of RF signals, digital signal processing, and analog simulation.
-Proficiency in using vector network analyzers and interpreting S-parameters.
