Position: Data Engineer Location: Chandler, Arizona Duration: Contract Job ID: 169271

Job Overview: In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables, review and analyze moderately complex challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables. This role requires leveraging a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities: Build data pipelines using big-data stack technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, PySpark, and Python. Work with Amazon AWS S3 for object storage, security, and data service integration. Perform data modeling and database design. Utilize job schedulers like Autosys for workflow automation. Develop and maintain dashboards using PowerBI and Dremio. Write Unix/shell scripts and manage CI/CD pipelines. Apply logic to transform data and troubleshoot issues in data pipelines. Collaborate with team members to design and model data effectively. Automate processes using Spark, Python, Hadoop, and Hive. Provide technical solutions and resolve moderately complex issues. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education. Strong understanding and implementation of Autosys. Fundamental background in database design (e.g., MySQL or any standard database). Exposure to GCP cloud data engineering is a plus. Financial services experience is a plus but not required. Proactive and accountable with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to describe technical work experience and thought process for problem-solving.

Pay Range: $53 - $60/hr. on W2
