Our client is currently seeking a Software Engineer 3 - IT Staffing Services Front End/UI Contract Austin, TX (Hybrid) Candidates must have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in the following areas: Front-end/UI development using Angular and/or similar frameworks on the J2EE platform. All phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). UI development for implementing authentication, authorization, and caching strategies. Programming languages and frameworks including: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, and Maven. Developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-level front-end applications with a full understanding of the front-end stack. Implementing client-facing applications with responsive design. Developing single-page applications (SPAs) with JavaScript or frameworks like Angular. Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components. Understanding and applying fundamental programming concepts like data structures, algorithms, performance, caching, and scalability in web UI applications. Developing and testing application user interfaces for ADA/Accessibility compliance. Implementing best practices in application design, performance, and scalability. Test-driven development using frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium. Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will also have: 5 years of experience with Spring Boot Java Applications. 5 years of experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later. 5 years of experience with Agile Development Methodologies (Scrum). 5 years of experience with web applications developed for a Cloud platform. 5 years of experience with CI/CD methodology. 5 years of development experience for mobile and tablet platforms.
