Job Description:
Position: Our team is a leading innovator in advertising technology, dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions that optimize ad performance and deliver exceptional results for our clients. We seek a talented Staff Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in enhancing our platform's performance advertising capabilities. As an integral part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize attribution models, ensuring accurate measurement of marketing campaign effectiveness.
Responsibilities • Develop and implement advanced data solutions supporting billing, reporting, and any other systems within the team's scope. • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to refine and improve data processes. • Design and maintain scalable and optimized data pipelines for efficient collection, processing, and storage of data. • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to validate and iterate on data processes. • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data engineering and ad tech.
Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. • Requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years • Proven experience in delivering data engineering solutions in ad tech industry. • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and Scala. • Experience in working with Kubernetes and stream data processing frameworks (Flink, Apache Ignite) • Proficient in working with big data technologies and databases (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, SQL, and MapReduce). • Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or similar • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with relevant tools. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience with RESTful API. • Experience with Golang • Familiarity with real-time data processing and streaming technologies. • Knowledge of end-to-end digital advertising ecosystems and industry standards. • Knowledge of Snowflake and related technologies
