Software Engineer, Engineering Productivity (Remote)

As a software engineer on the Engineering Productivity team, you'll build and maintain key tools and systems used by our engineering team. You'll collaborate closely with engineers across the organization to understand workflows and brainstorm improvements. We value a great developer experience and are committed to making sure our tools work effectively.
Responsibilities
Conduct user research with engineers and develop the roadmap for internal tools and systems.
Improve build safety and speed.
Ensure the reliability and availability of our Continuous Integration and build pipelines.
Build solutions for local and remote development.
Design and implement new tools for production and development deployments.
Leverage GenAI tools to enhance the engineering workflow.
What we're looking for (Requirements)
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/qualification.
4+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 1 year building tools for developers.
Deep knowledge of build systems.
Strong empathy for developers and a keen interest in understanding and addressing their challenges.
A self-driven attitude and desire to make a significant impact.
Interest in new technologies and staying updated with the latest advancements in developer tools.
Experience with JavaScript, Golang, and GitHub.
