Software Engineer - full stack Location: Remote or Hybrid | Type: Full-Time | Industry: Financial Services / Technology

We're looking for a Software Engineer who thrives on solving problems, writing clean code, and building both client-facing interfaces and powerful backend services that matter.

What You'll Do: As a key part of our software development team, you'll work on both the client front-end UI and backend APIs in a Microsoft .NET environment. You'll contribute to enterprise applications used in the financial and insurance space, with a core focus on Microsoft SQL data handling and a lighter footprint on mainframe systems (Unisys).

This isn't a junior entry-level role-but it's also not a sink-or-swim situation. You'll have room to grow while being supported by a smart, approachable team with a healthy mix of experience levels.

Your Day-to-Day: Own and build out meaningful features within .NET-based client and web services. Collaborate on the design and development of UI components Write, test, and debug clean, scalable code using C#/VB.NET. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure functionality. Query and manage large datasets primarily using Microsoft SQL. Participate in team sprints, share knowledge, and learn from experienced engineers. What We're Looking For: 1+ years of hands-on software development experience. You must love to learn and be motivated to research and develop your technical skills-do you want to know the WHY? Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio C#/VB.Net, Windows services, and Web services. Exposure to Angular for modern web development is a plus. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Ability to work independently with periodic guidance while also collaborating cross-functionally.
