Overview The Software Engineer will be a development and implementation expert responsible for improving and maintaining internal processes, systems, and workflows with the objective to optimize and automate using the best of breed software from Impact's providers. Collaborating with our Business Transformation team, the Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of solutions. These solutions will have significant impact on the associated processes and in most cases will be highly visible to end users and Executives. Responsibilities Collaborate within an agile team to gather requirements, design new solutions, and enhance existing systems. Develop deep expertise in one or more of Impact's core platforms (e.g., Microsoft, HaloPSA, Mendix). Contribute across a wide range of technical areas, with opportunities to specialize: Write code in languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, React, and Python Build low-code workflows using tools like Microsoft Power Platform, HaloPSA Runbooks, and Mendix Design and implement custom applications (e.g., Function Apps, Web Services, APIs, Plug-ins) Configure and implement data integrations (e.g., SQL, CosmosDB, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric) Develop Agentic AI solutions using tools like Copilot Studio Continuously learn new platforms and technologies through documentation and hands-on exploration Leverage AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot Maintain and support custom-built integrations and applications Deliver solutions on time and in alignment with business goals Conduct thorough testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements Document work clearly to support future development and enhancements Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively Things We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience Strong understanding of process flow logic; low-code experience is a plus Familiarity with CRUD-based data structures (e.g., SQL, ORM, NoSQL) Proficiency in general programming and development (e.g., Java, C#, Web Services, HTML) Understanding of integration technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL connections) Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies Detail-oriented, analytical, and curious Creative yet technical problem-solver with a strategic mindset Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal) Team player who thrives in collaborative environments Why Join Us?
