Join a dynamic software engineering team at Resideo that designs and develops mission-critical systems supporting life safety signaling and messaging in a public cloud environment. As a Software Engineer II, you will play a key role in expanding our cloud infrastructure while ensuring its reliability, availability, and disaster recovery. This position offers the opportunity to innovate, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to systems that make a real difference in people's lives.
JOB DUTIES: Work as part of Agile / Scrum team. Work with Product owners on estimations. Implement scalable, resilient system components. Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to maintain high availability. Support deployment and integration of new features and updates. Provide Level 3 support for cloud-based life safety systems, ensuring 24x7x365 availability. YOU MUST HAVE: 2+ years of software development experience Working experience utilizing tools such as C# (.NET Core), Java, C++, and/or Python Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment, including on-call rotations WE VALUE: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
