Join Our Team as an Software Engineer where you will work on the development of sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics for the FBM Mk7 program.

What does this role look like?
You will support the Re-entry Mk7 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Support the EGSE Organization as a senior software engineer. • You will support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability • You will collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, electrical and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology. • Coordinate with the product line manager and directorates to support needs.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, TestStand • 5+ years professional experience; 3+ years with Masters degree. • While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance , thus US Citizenship is required.

Desired skills • Experience in simulation software development, software testing and validation, and software configuration management • Issue Tracking and troubleshooting experience • Systems thinking mindset • Agile methodology experience • Experience with Jira or other Atlassian tool sets • Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure. • Possess strong communication, social, and problem resolution skills
