Title: Software Engineer IV Location: Burlingame, CA (Onsite) Duration: 12 months Compensation: $72/hr - $92/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Skillset / Experience: Software Engineer IV In this role, you will be building data collection tools that work with specialized hardware and allow us to collect real world data at a large scale. We're addressing a variety of technical challenges in the areas of collecting high quality data and generating ground truth that enables the training and evaluation of various ML models, including depth estimation, object detection, scene understanding, 3D reconstruction, SLAM tracking and occlusion modeling. Design and implement core data collection tooling components Conduct design and code reviews Maintain, analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system infrastructure Establish self as an owner of a particular component, feature or system with expert end-to-end understanding Successfully completes projects at large scope while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in Python or C++, and experience in developing, debugging, and optimizing user facing applications. Experience with Linux command-line tools and shell scripting.
