Software Engineer, Journeyman CACI is seeking an experienced Journeyman Software Engineer to support U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). Responsibilities: Leverages software development platforms in the USSOUTHCOM IT portfolio to develop and sustain USSOUTHCOM software and applications Assists with the transition to automated tools Conducts testing of platforms, systems, and interfaces Supports maturation and facilitation of SW integration analysis and reporting Develops Courses of Action (COAs) with Integrated Sustainment Engineering/Planning Provides end-of-life replacement support Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems Qualifications: US Citizen with active Secret security clearance Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field One or more of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, EEE Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), Scrum Alliance Certification (CSD, CSM), AWS Certified Developer Associate, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Google Cloud Professional Developer, Red Hat Certified Enterprise Application Developer, or Professional Software Engineering Master Certification 3-5 years of relevant experience Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments while supporting multiple projects Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow) What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
