Responsibilities:
Develop efficient and reusable systems that enable complex real-time interactive software.
Build technologies that empower developers to create captivating user experiences.
Optimize and debug real-time systems to ensure they run smoothly.
Set high quality standards to make our technology user-friendly and enjoyable for developers.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of industry software development experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of experience.
3+ years of experience developing features within 3D real-time interactive products.
Proficiency in systems programming languages such as C++, Rust, or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with engine-level systems for 3D real-time interactive engines (e.g., Unity 3D, Unreal Engine).
Background in developing for virtual reality platforms (e.g., Rift, Quest) or augmented reality technologies (e.g., HoloLens, ARKit).
Experience in developing SDKs or technologies that serve multiple products.
Knowledge of performance optimization for real-time applications, including CPU, GPU, and memory management.
In-depth understanding of real-time engine components such as Rendering, Physics, and Networking.
Strong grasp of 3D mathematics, including linear algebra and physics.
Public Compensation: $70.67/hour to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
