The Work Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer (Tool Developer). In this role, you will perform requirements analysis, design, implementation, and test/verification for assigned tools/applications, with focus on front-end and back-end design & development. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Agile/ Atlassian tools, Java, C, C++, and MySQL Database.
This position requires the ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

#rmshotmiljobs Desired skills • Experience with front-end design skills to meet user needs • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple projects and tool products • Experience in software engineering processes and tool/application development/maintenance with particular emphasis on baselining requirements, design implementation and verification • Experience in Agile/teamwork environment. Proficient with Atlassian tools set (JIRA, Fisheye, GitLab, Confluence, etc.) • Experience in process and workflow automation. Knowledge of Unix and Windows operating environments with proficiency in Java, Java Scripts, python, and next generation computer coding languages, database structures and queries (e.g., MySQL) • Demonstrated interest and ability to learn new software development tools and technologies and successfully leverage those to successfully complete assigned projects in a timely manner
