Job Title: .NET Software Engineer (Contract)
Location: Hybrid (On-site Required)
Duration: 4–6 Months Contract (Potential for Contract-to-Hire)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineer to support the continued development and optimization of a newly re-architected Customer Center application. This secure, Azure-hosted portal allows users to submit service requests, check order status, initiate RMAs, and more. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, React, and Azure, along with a collaborative mindset to support fast-paced development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with senior architects and product teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Maintain and enhance a newly rewritten Customer Center application leveraging React, TypeScript, .NET Core, and microservices architecture.
Implement and integrate Azure AI Search features and customer part number configurators into the application.
Build and maintain secure authentication flows using Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and MSOL.
Participate in design sessions, sprint planning, and code reviews as part of an agile development team.
Develop and consume APIs for integrations, including interaction with Salesforce.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of Azure-based services, including ADF pipelines.
Troubleshoot performance issues, maintain documentation, and support go-live activities.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with .NET technologies, including .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC.
Proficiency in React and TypeScript in a production environment.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including microservices architecture and Azure DevOps.
Experience integrating Azure AI Search and building scalable search features.
Working knowledge of Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and MSOL for authentication.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating with systems like Salesforce.
Familiarity with ADF (Azure Data Factory) pipelines and related cloud data tools is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in hybrid environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

Immediate need; the team is targeting a go-live for the new app by September 1.
