About the role: As a Software Engineer I you will demonstrate and use software development best practices for successful completion of projects. You will report to the Engineering Manager and be located at Shoreview, MN. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days onsite. Key Responsibilities: Write design documents for software projects. Develop GE/Emerson PLC software using Proficy. Design HMIs using Wonderware InTouch and Proficy View Debug and test PLC and HMI software. Integrate HMI and database interfaces. Provide support for existing customers of WEC FHEM product line. Plan, schedule, and perform work to meet assignment requirements within established scope, schedule, and budgetary requirements. Read schematic diagrams and apply relevant information to the project software. Develop and review all software test procedures. Work with customers, vendors and other internal departments on a professional level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments. Identify areas for product/service improvements to management personnel. Identify and recommend improvements in processes on continuing basis and support implementation. Resolve Corrective Action issues and support process improvement efforts within department and company. Identify and help develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering discipline. 0+ years of experience. Siemens PLC Experience
